This initiative aimed to bring together stakeholders from across the food system in a unique collaborative opportunity. The goal of this process was to develop innovative strategies to support a thriving, sustainable, and equitable food system in the Parry Sound area.
Participants in the lab:
- Worked closely with a range of people working across the food system in the Parry Sound area
- Get fresh perspectives and provided critical input on the issues that have an impact in their work and community
- Generated ideas for innovations with the potential to realize significant impact in the Parry Sound and area food system.
The lab process ran over the course of 2 workshop days on March 31 and April 21. Each day included a hot lunch catered by a local food business. The workshops took place at the Hart Trophy Room in the Bobby Orr Community Centre.
